Thanks for this post. I want to go to Dublin soon but have IBS so it will be a struggle, but I'm determined to have a break - it's been seven years since my last holiday!

Thank you for your encouraging article on traveling. I have been preparing myself for an upcoming 2 week trip with 2 long days in the car going and coming home. I get nervous in the car because of urgent diarrhea, but I am going to take Immodium each driving morning and hope for the best. My husband is very laid back about it and even is bringing a bucket for a quick highway stop, just in case. Your suggestions were very helpful and I am trying to be calm and relaxed. I have also put myself back on Aloe Vera capsules-full strength dosage of 9 per day. This is the expensive, potent, pure aloe mucilaginous polysaccharide preparation that is good for GI problems of all types, including IBS. I have read about the different companies and have chosen Serovera for the purity and type of manufacturing process they employ. Sufferers of IBS might want to look into this.
Thanks again.
